Cushman's relatives livednext door.

His wife, only listed as Mrs, was 28 so wassecond wi fe Carrie. The children were: Nap S, 12; W H, 10; Spray(sp ?) Jane, 8 ; and Clara, 6. Living with them were a John McCowan,27, Alfred Wabil e, 20, Lavina Beam, 18, and Edward Beam, 7 mo. Noneof them had occupa tions or relationships listed. Next door was theJacob Elliott family w ith William Elliott next to him and down theroad in the other directio n was another Elliott with first name thatlooks like Tharlies (?). A ll probably Mary's relatives through hermother.

John was stillfarming. Nex t door lived the family of William Elliott, a few doorsdown was Jacob E lliott, and even farther was John Elliott.
