Were David and Daniel one and the same person? It seems the nameshave b een confused by transcribers. In the 1850 census he wasrecorded as Da vid, in 1860 he was Daniel with the same familymembers. The only Danie l found seems to have remained in TN but hewould have been only a youn gster when the family moved north and soprobably moved too.
