1830 Prect 4, Shelby Co, IL. He was living next door to brother,Mile s, at census time and down the road were other brothers and theirparen ts. Sharp's family consisted of 1 male under 5, himself at20-30, 1 fem ale under 5, and his wife at 20-30.
He, brother, William, and their father each entered the 80 acre tractso n which they settled when the first land patents were issued.
5/27/1831 Shelby Co, IL, was still his residence when he purchased 80a cres in Moultrie Co at S9 T12N R06E, paying $1.25/acre at Federalsale.
1/1/1834 Coles Co, IL. He had already moved by the time he boughtmor e land from a Federal sale in Coles Co. For the same purchaseprice as b efore, he received 80 acres at S34 T14N R07E.
Abt 1836 TX. He probably moved about the same time as, or possiblywi th, several other family members.
Neither Sharp nor any of the family are listed in 1840 or 1850 censusr ecords. Where were they?
