Rosemary Strine, 81, of West Salem, Illinois passed away FridayFebruary 20th, 2015, at her home.
She was born October 16th, 1933 in West Salem, IL a daughter of Thomasand Estelle (Niekirk) Gawthorp. She married John Strine April 30, 1952at the Moravian Church Parsonage in West Salem, IL, he preceded her indeath.
She was a homemaker. Her family was of great importance to her as wellas reading, her coffee, family meals and family gatherings. She was aformer travel agent and member of the West Salem Moravian Church. Shewas very active in church activities and was one of the foundingmembers of the Outreach Meals program. She was also a member of PrettyWomen's Red Hatters of West Salem, Illinois.
Survivors include 3 daughters Nancy (Michael) Orrel and Joni (Rick)Campbell both of West Salem, IL. and Teresa (Jerry) Dalmier of Noble,IL. Sisters Hyla (Frank) Cameron of CA. and Shirley (M.L.) Myers ofWest Salem, IL, a brother Wendell (Kyoko) Gawthorp of West Salem,IL;12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 2 great greatgrandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, an infant son, 1brother, 2 sisters and 1 great grandson.
Services at the Moravian Church at West Salem. Burial in the MoravianChurch Cemetery.
