5/9/1910 Lowe Twp, Moultrie Co, IL. Listed in the census as JosephHen drixson, 29, he had been married 14 years to Ida, 27, who hadbirthed 5 c hildren, 2 of whom had died. Those surviving were AlfordE, 9, Harold E , 5, and Wilber J, 1. Joe's occupation was housecarpenter.
1/8/1920 N Okaw Twp, Coles Co, IL. That census taker recorded Joelat a ge 40, Ida at 38. Their children were Alfred, 18, Herald, 15,Wilbur, 1 1, and Virginia, 6. Joel was a general farmer and theyrented their ho me.
4/21/1930 Lowe Twp, Moultrie Co. Having moved back across countyline s again, Joel, 50, had married at age 17 to and Ida B, 47, whowas 15 a t that time. They rented their home but did have a radio forthe full h ouse that included son Alferd E, 28, his wife Opal, 27,daughter Virgin ia, 16, and Alfred's daughter Betty J, 8. Joel wasstill a general far mer and Alfred was farm laborer.
According to the 1900 census taker, Joel was born 8/1879 which alsoagr ees with the 1930 census which says he married at age 17.
