Henry A. "Hank" Drake, 75 of Lovington, died Saturday, August 15, 2009i n Decatur.

Hank was born October 2, 1933 in Lerna, the son of Fred and Lilly(Arth ur) Drake. A U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War, Hank worked asa unio n sheet metal worker and was a member of Sheet Metal WorkersUnion Loca l 218. He was an avid horseman and never met a horse hedidn't like. He e njoyed playing poker with his friends, attendinghorse shows with his s on and enjoyed his taxi service for the localAmish. He married Patrici a Stafford April 27, 1959 and they have beentogether for more that 50 y ears.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia of Lovington; son, Donny (Sheri)D rake of Dalton City; daughters: Rebecca (Harold) Mazza-Damery ofTrafal gar, IN and Trisha Allen of Sullivan; sister, Hazel (Norman)Aufdenkamp o f Davie, FL; grandchildren: Tracie, Joseph and SarahDamery; Michael, J essica, Cody and Emileigh Drake and Ashley Allen;great granddaughter, J ane Damery; many nieces, nephews, otherrelatives and friends.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Mitch Damery andb rothers: Paul, George, Franklin, Raymond and Tom.

Graveside services will be 2 pm, Friday, August 21, 2009 in RoselawnCe metery, Charleston. There will be no visitation. Following theburial t he family will receive family and friends at the MattoonAmerican Legio n.

The family of Henry A. "Hank" Drake is being served by the Moran &Goeb el Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2801 N. Monroe St.Decatur.
