In both the 1860 and 1870 census, she was still living at home, in1860 a s an assistant, in 1870 as a seamstress.
In 1880 she lived with brother, William, and their teenage niece,Berth a whom they raised. She and William received acreage from theirfather i n joint ownership.
Apparently she never married as the IL Death Index lists her as HuldaP urvis, 74.
Mahulda was buried beside her mother.
