In the census, Huts was as till a farmer and his property had grown to $3600/1800.Sister-in-law, C harlotte Purvis, was visiting and his aged mother wasstill living with t hem. Charles Bohannan, 19, was also still there,now listed as farm ha nd. Next door was Levi Seass and 3 doors downthe other way was Joseph P urdy Powell.
