One family tradition is that 3 brothers, Andrew, Thomas and James,came t o America shortly before the Revolutionary War. However, thishas neve r been verified.
Andrew supposedly settled Powell Valley, KY, but here again is adiscre pancy. The name of the valley was officially credited toAmbrose, not A ndrew. However, this does not mean Andrew did notsettle there.
If Andrew was a son of John, John died about 1599.
