Elijah was a brother to Adam Wall who married Nancy's sister Mary,i.e. brothers married sisters.

6/1/1880 Washington Twp, Mercer Co, MO. That census recorded him asElija W, 36, farmer, with wife Nancy, 30, and a full house: CoonradW, 8, Mary E, 6, Thomas W, 4, Zentippie, 2, plus Elijah's parentsCoonrad, 64, and Elizabeth, 62, as well as Abram Yount, 12, farmlaborer, and Anna Hoskins, 21, servant. Elijah's father worked on thefarm. Next door was younger brother Adam.
6/6/1900 Cass, Texas Co, MO. Having moved before the next census,Washington E was 56 years old, born IN, his parents in TN & KY;married 31 years to Nancy A, 51, born MO, parents in IN and TN. Nancyhad birthed 9 children, 2 of whom were deceased. Children in thehouse were Claudy E, 16, and Cora E, 12. (Where was Aurora, 14?)Washington was still farming.
At least one other researcher says Elijah was buried in Stratton, NE,same place brother Adam lived for awhile.
