Otis seems to have been the leader of family activities, beinginstrume ntal in most of the big bashes in Illinois. Nephew, RobertPowell, sai d Otis seemed to be the black sheep of the family, that hewas married, h ad 2 children and divorced. His ex-wife was employedby the General Mo tors Pontiac Division near Dearborn, MI.

1/5/1920 N Church St, Decatur, Macon Co, IL. The census captured thef amily there and recorded Otis E, 35, with wife Edith J, 30, and 3child ren, Jennett, 14, Genevieve, 12, and Francis, 9. They lived ina rente d house. Otis' occupation was brakeman on the Penn Railroad.

1218 S Hight St, Denver Co. There he served as maintenance man forvar ious apartment buildings in the area.

1932 Denver, CO, was still his addres when his father died.
