He was killed instantly in a one car accident.
His funeral was held at the First Baptist Churh of Mattoon with Rev
Roger Compton officiating. Among the pallbearers were cousins, Duane
and Dwight Fitt, Danny and Van Webb, and Jack Van Gundy, Jr. Honorary
pallbearers included more cousins, Randy Decker, Harold and Tony Van
Gundy, Mark Fitt, Matt Webb, and Chris Dent.
