She passed away in Lake Wales at Mitzi's house while having aconversat ion with Mitzi and playing games on her lap top.

Mrs. Gladys Lucile Hartman Van Gundy , age 93, passed away from heartf ailure Sunday (November 29, 2009) at home surrounded in love byfriends , family, and her husband of 72 years.
Born in Parkersburg, IA., on May 3, 1916, she came here from St.Cloud, M N., 45 years ago. She was an amazing daughter, sister,mother, aunt, gr andmother, great grandmother, and great-greatgrandmother. Her loving, c aring, and giving spirit will continuethrough the upcoming generation. S he will be missed by many.
Mrs. Van Gundy is survived by her husband R.E. Vangundy, Lake Wales;so n Jerry Van Gundy and wife Gail, Cummings, GA.; daughter MitziRauth an d husband Ken, Lake Wales; 6 grandchildren; 15 greatgrandchildren; 1 g reat great grandchild.
At her request, she was cremated. Her ashes will be interred atBushnel l Military Cemetery. There will be numerous memorials forGladys in the y ears to come, as her family and friends come togetherto share memories a nd love. At her request, there will not be aformal/immediate memorial s ervice.
