Passes Away at Home of Her Brother in Mattoon
Contracting tuberculosis shortly after the death of her husbandtw o years ago, Mrs. Mary Camilla Dunkin passes away at the home ofher br other. A.P. Powell, in Mattoon at 12:30 o'clock on Sunday. Shehad bee n confined to her bed for the past five months.
Mary Powell was born near Sullivan in 1882 and had always residedi n this city until several months ago when she went to Mattoon tolive.
She was a lovely character and was particularly interested in thew ork of the Christian church in this city....."
Mary's funeral was held at 3 PM on a Monday at the Christian church ofS ullivan with Rev W.B. Hopper officiating.
