At census time in 1920 Carrie Chipps was living with her parents,liste d as a 30 year old widow rather than divorcee.
According to stories told by those who knew her, she was somewhat of ac haracter. One person said every family needed an Aunt Carrie.
Niece, Dorisgene Van Gundy Webb, carries special memories of herancest ors:
