At the time of her marriage she worked at Wilb Walker's Supermarket inM attoon. After the meat packing days with her husband, she went towork a t the GE plant in Mattoon where she remained for several yearsbefore r etiring in early 1997.
In 1998 she reached the 1 gallon milestone of blood donors.
