She was maid of honor for the wedding of her sister, June.
Sister, Doris, told of Pauline's ingenuity in getting the job done:
"Our kids always liked to go to Aunt Paud's house. She was anexcellen t cook, and everyone just 'did their own thing.' One dayPaud was mash ing potatoes when her mixer quit. She went to thegarage, returned wit h Fred's drill, and finished mashing thepotatoes. Were the kids impre ssed!"
The funeral was held at the First Christian Church, Mattoon, IL, withR ev Rbt Clark officiating.
