Laura was named for her Grandmother Van Gundy and perhaps even hergrea t aunt, Laura Van Gundy.
She worked at the General Electric Plant in Mattoon for years beforehe r retirement.
The cause of death was ruptured aorta and she also had alzheimer'sdise ase. She had been a resident of a nursing home for a few yearsprior t o her death.
