In the "100 Years Ago" newspaper column of 5/9/2002 was the following:
"Cooks Mill and North Okaw townships were visited by a big wind thatwa s almost a cyclone. Considerable damage was done by fences beinglevel ed by the blast, and Albert Crum's big barn was blown down."
