Betty and Freda were twins.
The obituary in the Decatur Herald on 1/27/1928 said:
"Betty Joan Arthur, four day old twin daughter of Mr. and Mrs. FredArt hur, residing nine miles northeast of Matton, was brought to thiscity ( Mattoon) Wednesday afternoon for burial in Dodge Grovecemetery. The li ttle one died of cerebral embolism in the family homeTuesday evening ( January 24 1928). there was no funeral services.
