However, the Illinois marriage index forJasper Co has 9 /13/1879. Other sources recorded it as 9/15/1880 andthe 1900 census sa id they had been married 20 years, their oldestchild being 19. According to Frank's obituary they married in 1870but Frank would have been only 11 years old at that time.
