JD and Dorothy loved to play bridge and were often involved in thevari ous clubs and tournaments around town. On 10/1989 theycelebrated thei r 50th wedding anniversary with an open house at theFirst Baptist Chur ch where they received an enormous crowd of friendsand relatives.
